Paul the Event Planner

This weekend Paul proved his amazing organizational skills by planning a church camp out. According to our research, 100% of the attendees considered the event a success, never mind the rain and that Amy and James had to eat all the pancakes themselves because no one else showed up. The fall leaves and views of the ocean made it all worthwhile. Plus, James learned to set up the tent, and Paul got to use our new electric griddle.

  • I am afraid that I must take a little responsibility for Paul's poor powers of persuasion. In the few months I spent training him, I broke him down and turned him into the man you know today. Apparently I only had enough time to break him down. Also encouraging him to continue with an engineering degree didn't help his social skills either.

  • Yikes! I'm sorry you guys had to hold the party down yourselves but look on the bright side, there was nobody to bore you with their conversation and hey, pancakes!

  • we're guilty. Next time we promise to show up, even if we have to tent-crash.

But hey, you did get a romantic evening in the rain all to yourselves, huh?
