Bankhead Adventures

Harvest

Since we have no pictures from our 9 days in London (although if you're really desperate, you can do a simple image search for Buckingham Palace or St. Paul's Cathedral and find many photos of random tourists who could be Amy or Paul or James posing in front of these famous buildings), our blog turns to more homey adventures, such as the first fruits of Amy's amateur gardening endeavor. Photo 1 illustrates the one ripe tomato that our plant has produced thus far. Photo 2 illustrates what Amy did with that tomato. Initially Paul was frightened by the Double Tomato Bruschetta with Mozzarella. After mustering his courage and tasting the stuff, however, he quickly helped Amy finish off the entire baguette and all the tasty tomato-y treat.

  • Yum! I love garden tomatoes! They always taste so fresh and savory.

  • This treat is one of those that is so simple to make but so totally elegant. I'm drooling at this!
