Architectural Attempts
In honor of Labor Day, Amy and Paul decided to do some manual labor in the form of sand-castle building. Just a few minutes into our project, it was clear that James was better at demolishing than building, so Paul cleverly buried him in the sand, rendering him immobile and thus unable to destroy our sand creations. The crowning feature of Paul's wing of the final castle was a moat intended to protect the building from oncoming waves. Amy's more traditional wing was guarded by a ferocious sand dragon. In the middle was half-buried James, whose short arm-span prevented him from fulfilling his sand-smashing desires.

But . . . how much sand within that short arm span ended up in Jame's digestive system?
Hugs and kisses to you all?

I agree with Lauri, it looks like James tried to eat his way out of his captivity. Looks like fun guys!

Paul, I was aware of your vampire like issues with bright light, but, I didn't realize it had gotten so bad. I thought it was just your eyes, but now I see that sunglasses are no longer sufficient and you must keep a shirt and safari hat on to protect yourself even further. I am glad to see you are not letting it stop you and the family from enjoying the great outdoors.
