Manresa State Beach
Oh, the joy of the beach! One little known excerpt from Amy's journal, dated August 2002, reveals, ". . . in order to have an optimal beach experience, I have to have or be a child or a lover." Now that Amy has one of each and lives just a short drive from the Pacific Ocean, her beach experience has finally been optimized. Our latest trip to the beach included six moms, eight kids, three boogie boards, two wet suits, three huge umbrellas, one ridiculous green hat that Paul dislikes because it's girlie but Amy makes James wear because of the large brim and because it was free (she found it in a state park--only fair since we've lost a few hats in state parks), six cups of ingested sand which showed up in a diaper this morning, zero sunburns, and 324 units of fun.

I love the blog but can't help but feel my hips are a little too convex to be posing like that...note to self for future pictures. Your hips look hot though!
