COVID-19 Chronicles, Part 16 (Brain therapy)

We Bankheads are reluctantly accumulating experience with post concussive syndrome. After Paul's initial brain injury back in 2017, he's had several other concussions, and Sadie followed in his footsteps by getting her own head injury in the summer of 2020. Consequently, our house has been turned into a brain therapy clinic, and for many months both Paul and Sadie spent several hours a week diligently working toward full cognitive function. It's been an adventure, and it's unclear exactly when we declare victory over these ongoing brain issues. In any case, the whole family benefits from strengthening our neural pathways.

Most therapy includes doing hand movement and cognitive tasks simultaneously.
