Last Snow Post of the Season
Amy and Paul spent an afternoon snowshoeing in Millcreek Canyon with Paul's brother and his 8-months-pregnant wife (she is a rockstar). We realized too late that all the other snowshoers on this particular trail had sleds strapped to their backs. We had to jump out of the way as they came zooming back down the trail. We still had a great time, but next year our descent back down the trail will be much faster.

jealous. one of our first dates was snow shoeing and we haven't been since. that sounds like fun. hmmm...maybe we'll head up over the pass before it's too late!

The sleds are a brilliant idea. That reminds me--half on topic, half off--that around here people sled down grassy hills on cardboard. I guess you take your sledding however you can get it.

Kelsey made me think of how here in Salt Lake when there's no snow to be found, we sled down grassy hills on ice blocks. If the Bankheads are going to be around this summer, maybe we should do that.
