Yankee Reservoir

One highlight of our most recent adventure to Southern Utah (besides Paul's snapping a derailer, flatting two tires, and slamming his shoulder into a boulder after flying over the handle bars of a very expensive mountain bike) was rafting on a serene lake.

  • Well, glad you got some serenity out of the trip. Talk about going to extremes! Glad to see you guys enjoying a beautiful vacation! -Julia

  • I thought it was fun. But then again I didn't have to go barreling down a mountain. I was just fine driving the shuttle car. It was so great to have a chance to hang out with you guys so much. Hope your drive home went o.k. We already miss James and Sadie. I don't think our toaster has been used once since James left!

  • Paul's biking style sounds like Todd's. I hope he's ok. As a wife, that's not the best feeling to hear about bike accidents. Good luck.

  • Two questions:
    1.) What trail?
    2.) What bike?

I decided a long time ago that if the decision ever comes up to break your leg or break your bike, ALWAYS choose the leg. Those derailleurs don't heal on their own, and insurance won't usually cover them.
