Pink Glove Love
Finding James-sized cold weather gear in Sunnyvale can be tricky, which is why James has yet to own a pair of gloves or mittens. When our recent trip to the San Francisco zoo turned out to be chillier than expected, Amy's friend Alison saved the day. Apparently on Alison's last trip to Utah, she found child-sized gloves at Albertsons for $1 a pair. So she bought 20 pairs, which she keeps in the trunk of her car. (Can you tell why Amy and Alison are friends?) James didn't even mind that they were pink. He also didn't understand, despite Amy's encouragement to the contrary, that he could put his hands down while wearing them.

the zoo... ah, that sounds dreamy. California is looking pretty good to me right now! I love the pink gloves and that he won't put his hands down. Cute James!!
