Snowy Experiences
Since James could neither walk nor talk last time he saw snow, this Christmas was his first real experience with the white stuff--and there was plenty of it in Utah this year. Just ask Paul, who has skied 5 of the 10 days we've been here. Anyhow, the moment James woke up on our first day in Utah, we bundled him up and handed him a snow shovel. He immediately went to work, first clearing the sidewalk and then shoveling the snow back from the lawn onto the sidewalk again. He then repeated as necessary. Later on we took him on his first sledding excursion, where Paul's only complaint was that he had to get both the sled and James back up the hill after each run, since James's snowsuit impaired his ability to walk uphill.

James looks like a natural in the white stuff. Thomas still hasn't seen snow in this life.

We have the same snow shovel. Max really liked it until we got our snowblower fixed and then he realized the shovel was futile, and prefers to help Byron with the snowblower. Looks like sledding was fun, sorry we missed it. It was great to see you guys.

Even a mother who loves him dearly has to wonder how Paul got such a great deal from this vacation. I can "read between the lines", so I just have one question:if Paul skied 5 days out of the 10 they were here, what did Amy do during her "5 days out of 10" vacation time?!!
