Our Favorite Hike
We Bankheads do a lot of hiking, but we keep coming back to this one. Mt. Tamalpais's Pan Toll Station to Stinson Beach is just the right length (3 miles), passes through a variety of lovely landscapes (redwoods, ponds, gnarly bushes, beach), includes a ladder and many wooden bridges, and is downhill all the way, because the Marin Stagecoach will take you back up to your campsite. Last week James self-propelled the entire route, making the trek even more pleasant for his parents.

I love that you guys get out with your kids so often! I also love the picture of James' face after knee boarding...loving the watersports, just like his parents. :)

nice. love it when they can do it themselves. although, teague insisted that he could do it himself last time and he really couldn't, so there was quite the struggle in the middle of the forest. less than peaceful hike...
