Child Labor

Amy and James are involved in a co-op "playschool" for the six 2-year-olds who live in the neighborhood. For one recent activity, we held a kiddie car wash. Armed with scrub brushes, rags, and the hose, James and his pals rounded up all the toy cars in the vicinity and made quick work of detailing all 8 of the community fleet. Soon we'll be washing real cars and our "playschool" will start making a profit.

  • I'm thinking they should probably practice for their profitable venture on our real cars.

  • When they get a little older you can start them on the gardening, as long as you don't mind the rather haphazard flower bed arrangements.
