Huddart County Park
Turns out that if you're not afraid of the rain, you can have an entire forest to yourself, even in the Bay Area. Well, except for the ranger who stops by your minivan during pre-hiking family nap time to make sure everything is OK, since it's raining and all.

Hi, I had something cool to say, but I forgot what it was. Oh well. Your hair is getting long. I always thought that was one of the weirdest things to say, because it's not really a compliment, it's just a statement. What are you supposed to say back? "Thanks"? "Yeah, that happens after time"? I don't know. And my word verification is "vater," ironic since I taught a bunch of crazy kids who gave me a headache how to say that word in English on Wednesday.

What a thoughtful ranger. And I am not surprised a bit that you guys went hiking in the rain. Booyah Bankheads!
