Living History

Now that we live in Sillicon Valley, Amy thought it only appropriate that the family visit the Computer History Museum across the street from Paul's office. The tour included displays about abacuses (or is it abaci?), huge time card machines that filled a whole room, Deep Blue (the computer that can beat chess grandmasters), Toy Story, Pong, and the cool relic in this photo--one of Google's first home-made computers that eventually made "to google" a verb. James is clearly mezmerized--notice that he is not asleep!
