Move Over Ikea

Although we were very happy to sit back and watch the professionals pack up our belongings in Texas and then unpack them a month later in California, there were a few casualties, namely all our tables. We are currently table-less. Eventually the insurance adjustor will come to assess the damages and either fix our tables or give us money, but in the meantime (which could be a long time, we're discovering), we are making due with what we have. In place of our dining room table, we're using two large cardboard boxes. You know, maybe we won't go back to traditional furniture. These boxes are economical, lightweight, functional, and certainly classy. Plus, we're getting into the Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle phenomenon that is all the rage here in the bay area.
