Pre-Christmas Event

Amy, Paul, and James will spend the last two weeks of December visiting family, but transporting gifts was too much of a hassle, so we had a small gift-opening ceremony on Friday night. After two weeks of trying to keep James away from the presents, we couldn't convince him to come near them once we had declared them free game. After Amy finally unwrapped them for him, James decided that the most interesting object in the room was Amy's keys (See the Albertsons card in his hand in the photo above.). Still, could we call ourselves good parents if we didn't arrange a nice photo op? So we scattered wrapping paper around and turned on the lights on the Christmas tree, and pretended that James was excited about his gifts. Posted by Picasa

  • You are the best! Love, love, love to get your wonderful comments and cute pics--of course he IS very cute!!

My, how grateful I am for each of you and our other children, spouses, and grandchildren. At this sacred, and this year frightening, Christmas I am so very mindful of how much I love and need each one. As Laurie said as we were trying to access assets, my greatest asset is my family of nine children.(+ their spouses and children) And that is how I see it. My love to all of you and kisses for James, Gram Gram
