Tour of Texas 2012
Amy and Paul spent their first two years of marriage living in Dallas, Texas. We haven't been back since, but lucky for us a friend's wedding gave us a good excuse to revisit the Lone Star State. We took the opportunity to initiate Amos into jet setting, visiting 5 different airports in 5 days. We hit Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas, and met up with many beloved friends and family. Paul was even honored with a Texas State Flag birthday cake, provided by the ever-wonderful Benac family. Hooray for all our Texas friends who sent us home with a year's worth of emotional casseroles.

That picture of Amos will go in his wedding video. His face is priceless, and now my desktop background.

I love the image of emotional casseroles! I imagined you storing them all in your freezer, which is where the analogy goes wrong, b/c you're storing them in your heart and I don't really think of your heart as a freezer :). Glad the trip was excellent and that you two once again produced such an adorable little person. Well done Bankheads

I wish we had known you would be in town. We would have loved to see you. But glad you had a nice time.
