For Amy's birthday, she invited a whole bunch of friends to a retreat in Monterey. People from high school, college, Texas, Stroller Hikes, and Sunnyvale were represented, plus all 3 sisters. Our agenda included touring a historic estate and gardens, attending an anatomy lecture, visiting the Monterey Bay aquarium, whale-watching, cooking together, and playing Ransom Notes. Such a soul-filling weekend, and a perfect way to celebrate 44 years.
