Backpacking for Amy's Birthday

Few things make Amy happier than hiking with kids, so we decided to take the whole family backpacking to celebrate Amy's birthday. Beauties of this particular route: sea level, no elevation change, mild weather, few people, gorgeous sunsets. Amos lost his precious penguin hat on the hike in, but we found it again on the hike out. One of the funniest moments was timing how long we could play cards at our campsite before one of us started absent-mindedly singing. The record might have been 3 minutes.
